Pride of place again goes to the Under 16s this week as they reached the semi finals of the Johnnie Giles Cup with a 3-2 victory away to Beechwood. A brace from Corey Ivers and one from Mark Hall proved decisive.

Elsewhere, "local derby Sunday" was a great success for the club as both the Under 17s and the Under 19s notched superb victories over rivals Leicester Celtic at Marlay Park.

Overall, it was five wins and two draws for the under age teams this weekend with the girls under 15s result still to come.  Great weekend, well done everyone!

Directions

We play our small sided games and our Senior games on Stonemasons Way (Broadford Park) in Ballinteer.  Our eleven a side under age games teams play in Marlay Park and our Girls teams alternate between both venues.

The link below provides a Google map for both Stonemasons Way (Broadford Park) and Marlay Park.  Drag the map or use the zoom in and zoom out facility to find the best route for you to our venues.

Marlay Park is to the left of the map and you can see the main car park beside the Grange Road.  Please check with the Broadford Rovers manager or  league secretary before travelling as there may be a more convenient car park depending on which pitch you are playing on.  Stonemasons Way and Broadford Park are to the right of the map and you can see our All Weather facility towards the top right hand side.
